Research and evidence
Research briefs that share lessons from Ghana and Sierra Leone, to be disseminated in partnership with the Association for the Development of Education in Africa (ADEA).
Objective 02
Connecting system-wide learning and technical support across Africa.
The objective
ATAE gathers, synthesises and shares research evidence, practice and insights drawn from its members' own experience. It uses that learning to give technical assistance to Ministries of Education, to agencies responsible for technical and vocational education, training and skills development, and to partners in African countries that want to learn from what members have achieved.
The support follows ATAE's principles and aims to build national systems, organisations and structures, so that the alliance grows steadily as new organisations join. Knowledge exchange is practical and African led, so that other countries can adapt members' experience to their own settings. Ghana's experience in negotiating a jointly owned education reform roadmap with national agencies is one example that applies directly to other countries.
Research briefs that share lessons from Ghana and Sierra Leone will be disseminated in partnership with the Association for the Development of Education in Africa (ADEA).
