The objective
Building collective credibility through shared standards.
ATAE will establish shared operational, financial and governance standards across its members, so that every member runs effective systems and processes. These include a common internal audit framework and shared operational systems such as an enterprise resource planning (ERP) system. Shared systems reduce duplication, strengthen resilience and help members show governments and partners that they meet high standards of accountability.
Together these standards strengthen the case for African-led institutions and build the trust of Ministries of Education, development partners and funders.
