Objective 01

Strengthen Members

Support the technical quality, delivery and growth of national member organisations.

The objective

Support the technical quality, delivery and growth of national member organisations.

ATAE supports its members to strengthen delivery, governance, data use and organisational resilience. Support includes proposal development, technical advice and peer review, drawing on expertise from across the network.

Members share experience and expertise across countries. For example, T-TEL can support Lɛ Wi Lan to review school-based Community of Practice materials, while colleagues with experience in examination reform or inclusive education can share their knowledge with members in other countries.

Each member retains full ownership of its work.

Objective 01 Member nationally owned Capability Governance Resilience

What this looks like

In practice

01

Technical support

Hands-on expertise that helps each member raise the quality of its own work.

02

Peer review

Members review one another’s practice openly, so strengths and gaps are visible early.

03

Shared learning

What works, and what has not, is shared across the alliance rather than kept in one country.

04

National ownership

Every member stays nationally governed and African-owned.
